The PHL Story Fund for Community Impact

The PHL Story Fund has a mission to support and empower Philadelphia area non-profits and communities to create, collect, and share updated data, content, programs, and testimonials that extend their reach and impact – while also creating a unified narrative that expands the Philadelphia region's reputation for quality of life, economic opportunity, and our talented population. All contributions to the PHL Story Fund are reinvested into supporting our member non-profit organizations.

Ranging from social impact topics such as Education, Art & Culture, Violence Prevention, Human Welfare, and more... Philadelphia non-profit organizations keep our culture alive and our future bright.

Blues Babe Foundation

The brainchild of Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter and poet Jill Scott, the Blues Babe Foundation is led by a team of passionate professionals invested in the success of our youth. Since it’s inception, the foundation has benefited from strong community and corporate partnerships.

ImpactPHL

This nonprofit is dedicated to growing the Greater Philadelphia region’s impact economy. ImpactPHL encourages and helps individuals and organizations align their financial assets with their values. Their community includes investors large and small, foundations, family offices, social entrepreneurs, and business leaders, and they connect and grow their community via advocacy, collaboration, events, education, and information sharing.

Wharton Social Impact Initiative

The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania partners with impact investors, entrepreneurs, executives, faculty, alumni, and other industry thought leaders to inform the practice of impact investing, propel research, and train students.

Sustainable Business Network of Greater Philadelphia

This is a resource for independent, locally-owned businesses that are committed to improving their business practices to be more sustainable. Through different programs and initiatives, the Sustainable Business Network of Greater Philadelphia educates business owners, policymakers and the public about how to create profitable enterprises that also protect the environment.

Investors’ Circle

This long standing organization is the largest and one of the most successful early-stage impact investing networks, and has an active Philadelphia chapter.

PIDC Philadelphia

PIDC is a public-private economic development corporation with a mission to spur investment, support business growth, and foster developments that create jobs, revitalize neighborhoods, and drive growth to every corner of Philadelphia.

ImpactableX

This group works with businesses and organizations to develop impact models that allow people to effectively measure their impact and manage it as they grow.

PhilaImpact Fund

The PhilaImpact Fund gives investors an opportunity to channel their capital into projects that support regional growth and local initiatives in the communities that need them the most. The Fund supports projects serving critical needs for people across the region, such as promoting housing stability for low-income families, better health outcomes, higher educational attainment, greater access to fresh, healthy food, and more.
